Emilie and Stuart.  12th September 2009, Manthorpe Church and Woodland Waters

It’s taken me a little while to post about Emilie and Stuart’s wedding because I just couldn’t choose the photos! I had such a great time with this couple: they had a really fun day, they looked amazing and were even blessed with glorious sunshine and beautiful evening light. All the right ingredients for magical wedding photographs. So I was a bit spoiled for choice when it came to posting just nine photographs here.

In the end I decided to concentrate on the couple themselves. If you’d like to see how much fun the whole day was, you can view all of their pictures at the client gallery:- Client Gallery

Emilie and Stuart are, as you can see, a pretty gorgeous couple with lots of personality, so I knew they were going to look great. Emilie chose such a perfect dress: it was beautifully fitted with just the right amount of bling and a full train to add a touch of bridal glamour. She looked simply stunning in it. Stuart wore full morning suit in which he looked pretty not too!

Their wedding day was perfect: the ceremony at Manthorpe church was made even more beautiful by the gorgeous blue skies and sunshine we were treated to (something we haven’t seen much of lately!) Emilie was beaming as she arrived at the church, and I think her Dad couldn't have been more proud! Both her and Stuart couldn’t stop smiling for most of the day.

After the ceremony we travelled to Woodland Waters, where the lake provided a stunning background for photographs, so again I was a bit spoiled!

In the evening the music was provided by Stuart’s Dad’s blues band who were  just brilliant. The dance floor was packed all evening. Despite all this fun, Stuart and Emilie snuck off with me for a quick photo session in the forest (we travelled by golf buggy – very glamorous it was too). There we were able to take some wedding photographs that were just a bit different and I think we created something really special for them.
