Mark & Philippa
This is an artbook style album in a 14 inch by 10 inch design, with 40 pages. The beauty of artbook style albums is the whole page is made with photographic paper, so there is complete freedom of design.
Many people have seen artbook albums that are excessively designed. We don't do this, but prefer a more simple and classic layout, allowing the pictures to speak for themselves.
We had also photographed the wedding for Philippa's sister the year before, so it was really nice to see them all again. The pictures are by both Samantha and Glen, which meant we could get more coverage, and this shows in the album.
This album gives a good example of the types of pictures we like to take at a wedding: so there are some detail shots of the flowers, table settings and other pictures that set the context for the day; there are some candid black & white and colour pictures; there are some lovely pictures of Philippa and Mark, that capture some of the spark and chemistry between them; there are some relaxed and natural pictures of the bridal party and guests; and also there are some more formal pictures of the bridal party and the immediate families.
